  • Set up, implementation and upgrading of protocols & standard operating procedures required for the smooth functioning of a wildlife rescue and rehabilitation centers.
  • Documentation and maintenance of all security and safety related issues.
  • Should be able to communicate, collect and compile information from various departments and develop strategies to overcome the existing issues.
  • Risk management: develop strategies to enhance safety precautions for the staff, volunteers and visitors.
  • Research, development and implementation of new technologies to ensure  eco-friendly and effective methods to handle on-field operations

Skills and Experience:

  • Graduation in any disciple with a good computer knowledge
  • Should have a clear understanding of Captive Animal Management.

  • Research pertaining to Litigations engaged in by Wildlife SOS
  • Coordinate and conduct follow up with lawyers, briefing senior advocates etc with respect to various wildlife matters and tracking cases, court dates etc.
  • Identify scope of litigation against poaching, wildlife trafficking and captive wildlife in India and follow up on the current litigations by WSOS
  • Conduct background research, file right to information applications to develop file and strategy for issues related to wildlife
  • Contribute to drafting agreements, contracts, MoUs and other legal documents for the organisation.
  • Travel for meetings, events and other activities, as needed.
  • Perform any other duties related to the field of animal law and welfare.” as assigned by the organisation.

 Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelors in LL.B / B.B.A. LL.B / Law graduate
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to read, write and converse in both Hindi and English.
  • Experience as a volunteer for wildlife conservation/animal welfare

The Wildlife SOS and San Diego Zoo Institute for Conservation Research seek a Postdoctoral Associate in Reproductive Physiology. Initial funding is for 3 years with the potential of extending up to 2 additional years for up to 5 years total.


• Coordinates the activities of the assigned research projects and provides lead guidance to assigned staff as needed
• Develops grant applications and fundraises to assist in funding research activities
• Communicates effectively as part of an international team
• Submits regular research reports to Directors at WSOS and ICR
• Develops, administers and monitors assigned budgets as needed
• Recommends purchases of supplies and equipment; maintains equipment
• Submits regularly scheduled financial statements and provides accounts and receipts to Directors at WSOS and ICR
