May 1, 2020 | By Mahima Sharma
Painting the world wild, Wildlife SOS hosted a painting competition on the occasion of Save the Elephants Day with the theme of “Save the Elephants”! Participants were asked to display their artistic skills and we received entries from all over the country. The winners had a chance of being featured across all our social media platforms and on our official website!
First Prize: Saroja AS
The brutality inflicted on performing elephants has been perfectly depicted in the painting, thus, truly spreading the message of Save the Elephants.
Second Prize: Lehak Jain
The balance that an elephant in the wild creates acting as the Engineer of the Ecosystem is encapsulated in this painting!
Third Prize was a tie between R. Shravanthi and Devansh Vajpayee
We should, indeed, keep in our mind the importance of conservation of elephants, as shown in this painting!
Elephants deserve love and to be left in the wild, not to be bound to chains and perform for the entertainment of people, as this painting shows perfectly!
