Sehnaz was left without a guiding light when her father passed away in 2014 and her family had no source of income to sustain themselves, which meant formal education was going to be a distant dream for this child. Wildlife SOS Kalandar Rehabilitation Programme helped Sehnaz’s dream become a reality and her life changed forever, as she donned new uniform and put her bag on her shoulders to start for school.
Sehnaz studies in a public school in Haryana and aspires to be a teacher when she grows up. Her favourite subjects are English and Computers, and she enjoys reading books in her free- time. One will find her sitting in the class reading her textbook lessons very sincerely! She excels in computers and her teachers are all praises for her sincerity, obedience and punctuality in studies. Her dedication in her studies is what makes her mother hopeful about Sehnaz having a bright future.
