Background history: Suffering from severe osteoarthritis, torn foot pads and a fractured ankle, Ramu was weak and in pain when he arrived at the Wildlife SOS Elephant Hospital for lifetime care and treatment. As our young tusker, now, lazily enjoys bath time, strategically dismantles his enrichment and picks up speed running around his enclosure, he has taken leaps in terms of improvement and receives regular treatment by our veterinarians.
