In 2005, a wildlife-loving American couple, Nikki Sharp and Thomas Sharp, met Wildlife SOS cofounders Kartick Satyanarayan and Geeta Seshamani, who were on a speaking tour in the United States to raise awareness and funds for Wildlife SOS projects in India. The Sharps were so inspired by the work taking place on behalf of animals in India that they committed to do anything they could from the USA.

Wildlife SOS USA received 501(c)3 status in 2005, allowing any American making a donation to receive a tax deduction.

Today, Nikki Sharp is the executive director of the Wildlife SOS USA branch, which functions with an all-volunteer board that assists the organization with anything that can be done from 10,000 miles away. If you are in the USA and are interested in helping, please get in touch with us through the contact information below.
