Wildlife SOS recently had the pleasure of speaking at the Army Goodwill Public School which is located in Pahalgam. The school is happily situated in the foothills and is surrounded by natural beauty. The students who attend the school come from different parts of the valley. Shabir Mir gave a presentation to the gifted students on the threats to wildlife conservation in the region. He remarked, “It is great to have students represented from many different areas. When they return to their communities, they can act as ambassadors for wildlife.”
The students were impressively engaged with the interactive talk and had great questions and comments throughout the discussions. The talk concluded with the principal, Mr. Ramesh, expressing his thanks to Wildlife SOS.
Wildlife SOS is always grateful of opportunities to present to students and hopefully inspire them to take an interest in wildlife conservation.
