Four years and over 3,200 tweets later, WSOS now has over 10,000 followers!  Kartick Satyanarayan, who is usually the voice behind the tweets says, “I started tweeting to keep our supporters updated on our daily challenges and triumphs that we encounter in our work to help wildlife.  There are days that we are over the moon with delight when we have helped return an injured or displaced animal back to the wild. There are also days when our teams rushed to locations and found a local mob has killed a harmless snake, we feel helpless and not so lucky. The beauty of Twitter is that no matter how the day goes, we feel there are thousands of supporters and readers with us, encouraging WSOS on this journey to help wildlife.”

For those people who have been following Wildlife SOS on Twitter from the very beginning, you have been with us through the rescue of the last dancing bear, the rescue of our first elephant Champa, countless anti-poaching raids and the rescues of a variety of animals in all sorts of unique predicaments. For those of you who have not been following us on twitter, you can follow us at https://twitter.com/WildlifeSOS
