Beginning TODAY we’re participating in the Macy’s Shop for a Cause Charity Challenge! From July 11 through August 9 we’ll be raising money to help circus elephants. The organization that raises the most money during Macy’s month-long competition will win $100,000 additional prize money! This would be a monumental accomplishment for circus elephants still awaiting rescue!
In 2015, we launched a bold campaign to save every last elephant suffering quietly in India’s circuses. We’ve already rescued eight, like Mac and Walnut (aka Wally) pictured above, and we estimate that another 50 circus elephants still need our help. Once rescued, we’ll provide them with the safety, care, and protection of a Wildlife SOS sanctuary — and the freedom to finally just be elephants, not entertainers.
Legal or not, circuses still profit from keeping elephants, and we don’t intend to surrender until we rescue them all. You’ve stepped up before. We need YOUR help to save the remaining elephants and help them recover from decades of torture.
It is vital that we take an early lead in this competition, and every donation counts! You can even start your own fundraising page at this link to share your love for elephants and energize your community into action. Let’s make this the greatest show — of compassion — on earth. Thank you so much! The Wildlife SOS Team |
